The First NCR-SPFL Conference with the theme "Unifying Efforts Towards SPFL Future Directions" was held at Quirino High School last January 18-19, 2013. This was participated by 45 schools here in National Capital Regions. The pictures below were taken from the exhibits of the different languages involved namely, Nihongo, Mandarin, Spanish, French, German and Arabic. 

Pasig City Science High School English Festival School Year 2012-2013

Pasig City Science High School celebrated the English Month for school year 2012-2013 last November. One of the highlights of the said activity was the Parade of the Gods and Goddesses. Each section had chosen their representatives. The following gods and goddesses are representatives of IV Boyle.

Binibining Pilipinas 2013, a Treasure Trove of Talent

          Yesterday, March 9, 2013, I and my husband went to Gateway Cubao to witness the sixteen out of 50 official candidates of 2013 Binibining Pilipinas in their Talent Competition. These lovely girls displayed an array 
of talents that ranged from singing, dancing to magic to hula hooping. The panel of judges included Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN Corporate Communications Head, Tim Yap, Philippine Star Columnist, Samboy Lim, Ginebra San Miguel Coach, Rj Ledesma, TV host and Uno Magazine Editor, Shamcey Supsup, Chit Guerrero, BPCI board member Conchitina Bernardo and artist Betsy Westendorp. 

The Pink House Salon : A Day of Pampering

A few days ago, I visited a salon located at Santolan, Pasig. We were able to identify the salon at once because of its unique looks and color - "pink house"! The Pink House Salon caters to the neighborhood located near the SM Marikina and Santiolan LRT Station. It's just one tricycle ride away from these popular landmarks.

The ambiance is really amazing as well as the beauticians of the said saloon. I was really satisfied with the way Vanessa, Rhea and Angie pampered me, not mentioning the magic touched of the parlor's hair stylist- Romeo. I would like to thank the owners- Jasmin, Sherry, Mads and Brenda- the four angels... domo arigatou gozaimashita.

The Filipino Bloggers Worldwide group celebrated its First Grand Eyeball / Anniversary / Christmas Party last Friday night December 7, 2012 at a small and modest portion of the Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong.

An approximate less than a hundred bloggers attended the event scheduled at 6 pm until 10 in the evening.

Great food and raffle prizes from generous sponsors were provided to all the bloggers and some guests. Sponsors included MannyO wines , ShareLeaf Tea, Speed Magazine, Breakfast Magazine, Azta Salon, ExLink Events, Minute Burger, Water For Less Purifying System, Tough Brat Bags, and a few more others including Ystilo Salon owned by the actress Vina Morales.
